Getting here from Whittier
Whittier is our next-door city: about 2 miles and 5 minutes from Whittier City Hall, almost all of it on Washington Boulevard.
Around Whittier
From Uptown Whittier on Greenleaf Avenue or from up near Whittier College, the drive is short enough to drop the car in the morning and be back home before the coffee gets cold. Hillside streets and long summer afternoons are hard on paint and cabins, which is why tint and a coating are the two questions we hear most from the east side of the 605.
What the Puente Hills ask of a car
North Whittier climbs into the Puente Hills, where Beverly Boulevard turns into Turnbull Canyon Road, a winding climb over the ridge. Roads like that wear a car differently than flat freeway miles. Going down, you lean on the brakes, so calipers get hot and wheels collect dark dust. Going up, loose gravel near the shoulder gets flicked at the rocker panels and lower doors. Overhanging trees add sap and bird droppings, which etch clear coat once the sun heats them. The fixes are small. Clear film on the rockers takes the gravel. A coating lets you wash sap off before it sets. Heat-resistant caliper paint and powder-coated wheels hide brake dust between washes.
Services for Whittier drivers
- Window tintAfternoon sun along Whittier Boulevard pours into parked cars. Ceramic film holds back much of that infrared heat, so seats and the dash stay touchable after work.Price by photo
- Car wrapsPaint that has spent years in the Whittier sun fades on the roof and hood first. A color change wrap covers it and keeps the original paint underneath. From $2,390
- Ceramic coatingTree-lined hillside streets drop sap and dust onto parked cars. A ceramic coating lets that rinse off instead of baking into the clear coat.Price by photo
- Wheel powder coatingSteep grades toward the Puente Hills mean more braking and more brake dust. Powder coating gives rims a hard, even finish that cleans up easier than paint.Price by photo

Whittier questions
I live up in the Whittier hills. Should I protect more than the front?
Often, yes. On hill roads your own tires throw gravel at the rocker panels and lower doors. Clear film there is a small add-on to full front coverage, and we can price both from your photos.
My wheels are scuffed from a steep driveway. Can they be fixed?
Light curb rash can usually be repaired before the wheels are powder coated. Deep gouges or bent rims are a different job. Send a photo of each wheel to find out what can be saved.
Can I bring my car over from Whittier on a weekend?
Yes. The shop is open seven days a week, 9am to 9pm, Saturday and Sunday included. Book the bay by text first so your car goes straight in when you arrive.
