Car wraps in Santa Fe Springs

A color-change wrap covers your factory paint with cast vinyl film in the color and finish you pick: gloss, satin, matte or color-shift. It changes the look completely, protects the paint underneath and can be removed later. Most full wraps here take 1–2 days.

Wrap or paint?

A quality respray is a bigger job and usually a bigger bill. It is permanent, and the original paint is sanded away. A wrap goes on over the paint you have. You get a new color in days, not weeks, and you can go back to stock when you sell or turn in a lease. The film also takes the stone chips and sun that would otherwise hit your paint.

Finishes we install

Gloss looks like fresh paint. Satin is the soft sheen most people ask for on Teslas and German cars. Matte is flat and shows texture. Color-shift films change hue as you walk around the car. We also do printed and custom designs, designed in-house.

How long does a car wrap last?

Premium cast films are rated for several years on vertical panels, and less on the roof and hood, which take the most sun. Southern California sun is hard on any film, so garage or shade parking and regular hand washing make the biggest difference. We give you the exact film's warranty in writing before you book.

What changes car wrap prices

Car wrap prices come down to four things. Size and shape: a coupe takes less film and time than a full-size SUV, and bumpers with deep vents and sensors take longer than flat doors. Film: gloss, satin and matte sit at one level, while color-shift and specialty films cost more per foot. Coverage: door jambs, the fuel door and extra trim add time. Prep: an old wrap or decals to remove, or paint that needs repair first, adds work. That is why we price by photo. Send front, side and back shots with the year, make and model, and we reply with options and an exact number.

The first weeks with a new wrap

Give the film a few days before the first wash so the edges and seams can set. After that, hand wash every week or two with pH-neutral soap and a soft mitt, and dry with a clean microfiber towel. Bird droppings, bug splatter, tree sap and fuel spills eat into vinyl the same way they eat into paint, so wipe them off within a day. On satin and matte film, skip wax, polish and glossy detail sprays. They fill the texture and leave blotchy shiny patches. A film-safe ceramic coating is the easier way to keep a satin or matte wrap clean.

Taking the wrap off later

When you sell the car or turn in a lease, the film is warmed and peeled back panel by panel, and any adhesive left behind is cleaned off. On healthy factory paint, the paint underneath has been shielded from sun and chips the whole time. Plan removal within the film's rated life. Vinyl left on too long in Southern California sun turns brittle and comes off in small pieces, which takes longer and costs more. If you are going back to stock for a lease return, plan removal a few weeks before your turn-in date.

Questions

How much is a car wrap at WRAP HUB LA?

A full vinyl wrap starts at $2,390 with a 5-year warranty. The exact price depends on the size of the car, the film and how much is covered (door jambs, partials). Text us photos of your car and we will send options and an exact price.

Can you wrap a leased car?

Yes. Wraps are common on leased cars because the film can come off before turn-in and the paint underneath stays protected. Check your lease terms and plan removal before your return date.

Will a wrap damage my paint?

On factory paint in good condition, a properly installed and properly removed wrap does not damage it. Respray, chipped or peeling paint can lift during removal, so we check the paint before quoting.

Can I take a wrapped car through a car wash?

Hand washing is best. Touchless washes are okay occasionally. Avoid brush washes, which can catch edges and dull satin and matte finishes.
