Around Cerritos
Cerritos is known for the Cerritos Auto Square, one of the largest auto malls in the region, along with the Cerritos Center for the Performing Arts and Los Cerritos Center. A new car is the best moment for paint protection film and ceramic tint: the paint has no chips yet, and the film goes on clean factory paint.
Order matters with a new car
With a new car, the order of protection matters. Paint is easiest to protect before its first chip from the 91 or the 605, so film on the front panels comes first. A coating goes on next, over the film and the rest of the paint, because it bonds to both and the whole car then washes the same way. Doing the two in one visit also lets the coating seal right up to the film edges. Every step is easier on paint that has never been through a brush wash. Tint can go on at any point, ideally while the interior is still spotless. Wheels can wait, since a new wheel color is a choice you can make any time.
Services for Cerritos drivers
- Paint protection filmThe 91 and the 605 meet near the west edge of Cerritos, where merging trucks kick up gravel. Full-front film keeps those chips off a new hood.Price by photo
- Window tintA new car usually has dark privacy glass in back and clear front doors. Ceramic film over the factory glass adds real heat rejection, and the fronts stay legal.Price by photo
- Ceramic coatingFresh factory paint is the easiest to coat because it needs less correction. A coating in the first months keeps a new car glossy and quick to wash.Price by photo
- Wheel powder coatingPlenty of new cars ship on plain silver wheels. Powder coating them black, gunmetal or bronze changes the whole look with a baked finish built for daily driving.Price by photo

Cerritos questions
The dealer offered me PPF and coating at signing. Should I take it?
Ask what you are getting: the film brand and line, the coverage and who registers the warranty. Compare that with a written installer quote. Text us the offer and we will price the same coverage.
Should I wait for new paint to cure before film or coating?
No. Factory paint is baked at the plant and fully cured when the car arrives. Film and coatings can go on right away, and going early means fewer marks to correct first.
Will tint or film void my new car warranty?
Not on its own. Under federal law, a manufacturer has to show that an add-on caused a problem before it can deny a claim for it. Keep the paperwork from your install in the glovebox.
