How much does a car wrap cost in Los Angeles?
In 2026, a full color change wrap with premium cast film in Los Angeles usually runs from about $2,000 for a small sedan to $6,000 or more for a large SUV, an exotic or a specialty film. Partial wraps and chrome deletes cost a few hundred dollars to about $1,500. The size of the car, the film and the amount of trim that comes off move the price the most.

What changes the price
Size is the first factor: a Model 3 has far less surface than a Tahoe. Then the film: standard gloss, satin and matte cast films cost less than color-shift, chrome or textured films. Coverage matters too: door jambs, the inside of the fuel door and wrapped trim pieces add hours. Finally, the car itself: bumpers with many recesses, sensors and badges take longer than flat panels, and parts like handles, lights and emblems often come off so the film can wrap around the edges.
Why the cheapest quote can cost more
Very low full-wrap prices usually mean budget calendared film, seams in the middle of panels, or film cut on top of the paint instead of tucked around the edges. Those wraps tend to shrink, fade or lift within a year or two in Southern California sun, and removing failed film takes time. When you compare quotes, ask which exact film and color code, whether the jambs are included, how the edges are finished and what the written warranty covers.
Wrap or paint?
A quality respray in a new color is usually a bigger job and a bigger bill, and it is permanent. A wrap goes on over the paint you have, protects it, and comes off when you sell the car or return a lease. If you only want part of the car to change, a gloss black roof, a hood or a chrome delete gives a different look for a fraction of a full wrap.
How to get an exact price
Every car is different, so the honest way to price a wrap is from the car itself. Text photos of the front, side and back, the year, make and model, and the color or film you have in mind. You get options and a written estimate before any work starts.
